Thomas (Tom) W. Thompson, Engagement Leader has been in Aviation for nearly 40 years, spending the last 7+ years as a Senior Consultant and Executive Advisor focused on airframe and component manufacturing, FAA & EASA Accountable Manager for airframe and component MRO’s, operations, and supply chain risk mitigation. Tom brings deep expertise in execution of engineering, manufacturing optimization, operational strategy, global supply chain risk mitigation, customer support, and regulatory.

Tom had an expansive three-decade career with Boeing Commercial Aircraft spending nearly 18 years on overseas assignments where he held leadership roles in flight controls design, test & certification, field customer support, and establishing a qualified aftermarket supplier network for all of Boeing’s commercial aircraft products and services. With his broad-based practical experience and relationships, Tom led the business development based in SE Asia where he successfully established a new regional business hub, creating a certified manufacturing, maintenance, overhaul, and repair supplier network that resulted in multiple partnerships and the execution of green-field JVs with both customers and suppliers. Tom successfully navigated FBO’s and BA from start-ups to small and mid-sized P&L turnaround with full responsibility of development, implementation, and execution of business strategies and revenue streams.

Tom graduated with a BSEE and earned his MBA focused on International Business
